can someone recommend a “thank you” message for an engraved gift?

I’m engraving something for my faculty advisor to say thank you for all the years of help throughout school. Can I get recommendations as to what I should have engraved? I’m having trouble coming up with good wording. Thanks!!

Actually the answer is in your question. The line of “thank you for all the years of help throughout the school year” is perfect. You can also add, “I could not have done this without you” or something to that effect. You don’t have to come up with a message that will make people weep. Just be sincere and make it come from the heart.
