How do I locate a BUYER in Seattle WA, for my 12lb, Quartz Crystal single schard?

I recieved a Large Crystal scharde as a gift, and I have been trying to sell it for some time now. I have had it on display in my home for several years now, but am interested in parting with it. It has a bit of negative memories for me, because of the bearer, not because of the rock itself. I would like to know where I might get rid of such an item, as I know it is rather expensive???

Search the yellow pages and online for rock and mineral clubs, stores, shows etc.
My wife is a member of the kitsap gem and mineral society and I know there is a similar club for Boeing employees. Try going to some of the shows and asking vendors what they think its worth, or try selling it to a shop that specializes in rocks/gems etc.
