will mystery gift work on pokemon soul silver if i buy a btopenzone pass?

I can’t access DS wifi with my Bt router, but I live in a place where can get BTOopenzone and I was wondering, if I buy a btopenzone pass thing that gives me like 90 minutes on wifi or whatever, will i be able to download things from pokemon’s mystery gift system?

Yes, if you can connect to Wi-Fi and get your DS online. Downloading gifts off the server will only take about 5 seconds. Currently, the only thing you can get off of Wi-Fi in North America is a Pokewalker course called Winner’s Path.
